Precision Automotive actively supports several local charities and community organizations in Orleans and Ottawa. Our success as a business is due to the loyalty and support of the local community. Following is a list of some of the community groups we are proud to support.

Greater Orleans Canada Day

Precision Automotive has been a sponsor of Orleans Canada Day celebrations since they first began at the Ray Friel Centre. After sponsoring the Canada Day Birthday cake and kids Olympics at the Friel Centre for years, the event grew to occupy its current venue at Petrie Island. Precision Automotive has been a Gold level sponsor ever since, and continues to sponsor the all-day Kids Tent.

Precision Automotive is proud to be a part of this community event, and we are glad to see the Greater Orleans Canada Day continue to grow and entertain year after year. A sincere thank-you to the hard working staff, performers, volunteers and other sponsors, who help to ensure the continued success of this great event.

Orleans Minor Hockey

Precision Automotive annually sponsors a minor hockey team in the local area. For the past two seasons, we have sponsored teams in the Jr. Grads Hockey Club.

The Jr. Grads Club is an affiliate member of the Ottawa District Minor Hockey Association, and is the competitive (“rep”) hockey team organization in the Orleans community.

The aims and objectives of the club include:

• To foster, encourage and improve minor hockey under the jurisdiction of the Cumberland Jr. Grads
• To provide fun, recreation and healthy enjoyment through development programs and competition, giving due consideration to individual capabilities
• To teach fair play and sportsmanship and to develop the skills of the players in its charge
• To foster among its members, supporters and teams a general community spirit

Eastern Ottawa Resource Centre

The Eastern Ottawa Resource Centre is committed to improving the quality of life for all individuals and to building a safe and healthy community.

Since 1979, the Centre has been offering a wide range of social and community services which include: counseling for individuals, families, children and youth; crisis intervention; individual and group support to women facing abuse and to children who witness violence; services for older adults, caregivers and persons with disabilities; information, resources and referral workshops and self-help groups; community development initiatives; and other services.
